Designed in 1853 by Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain for the Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoléon III, this precious bottle is adorned with the symbol of the Empire: the bee, which is now La Maison Guerlain's emblem. A sensual philtre, this fruity floral scent takes you straight to the heart of the fragrance. It blends berry notes and feminine notes of violet and orange blossom with the smooth luxury of iris to form a fiery and voluptuous accord. The Eau de Toilette Insolence showcases an overdosed, high-voltage violet: a triumphant violet that registers at the opposite end of the spectrum from the shy whisper usually used to treat this flower in half-shades and shadows. This dazzling violet rubs shoulders with a timeless, chic and feminine iris.
