François Demachy drew broadly from this new way of applying fragrance to adapt his composition of Dior Homme Sport Eau de Toilette. He lightened the Citron top note slightly to render it less bitter and gave more prominence to the rounder and fruitier Blood Orange. A strong sensation, custom-crafted for a full and generous new approach to fragrance. ""I adapted Dior Homme Sport to suit this new type of spray. Its unique amplitude through the misting diffusion of micro-droplets has a physical effect on the fragrance. It was an unexpected challenge that truly interested me."" François Demachy, Dior Perfumer-Creator. Olfactive Notes ESSENCE OF CITRON FROM ITALY: Cultivated in Italy and Corsica since Roman times, the citron is a large citrus fruit similar to lemon. It has a lumpy rind and yellowy-green pulp that is fairly dry and highly fragrant. Citron essence is obtained through a pressing process. PINK PEPPER EXTRACT: The ‘Pepper Tree’ bears clusters of berries that are used as spice and known as ‘Pink Pepper’ or ‘Brazil Pepper’. Native to South America (Brazil), the tree is now grown on Reunion Island, hence its nickname the 'Pink Gold of Reunion'. Red in colour and the size of a peppercorn, its berries grow in clusters and emit an intense spicy fragrance. Pink Pepper Extract is obtained by using a CO2 extraction technique, which allows the peppercorn to retain its full aroma. HAITIAN VETIVER: Vetiver is originally from India and Indonesia, but also grows in Haiti and on Reunion Island. It is a perennial plant with fragrant roots. The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation. Its persistent accords are used in woody, chypre and oriental fragrances.
